Ingredients

Five medium size cat fish ( also called Singi fish) ( each cut in three pieces) ( total 15 pieces)
2 green banana peeled and sliced half and cut into thin pieces like fish
green papaya slices thin like fish
1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
1 teaspoon of ginger paste ( or grated)
2 green chili
salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon coriander power
1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
2 bay leaves
1 tbspoon of oil
1 and 1/2 liter of water
2 cloves ( long)
chopped coriander leaves

Preparation

After dressing the fish, the whole fish needs to be rubbed with salt and washed to avoid smell. Marinade the fish with all spice powders and salt and keep it in a bowl. Put oil on a frying pan and roast the cumin seeds. When the seeds will spread aroma, break the bay leaves into 2 to 3 pieces each and put them in it; put ginger, cloves and green chilies, and stir all for five minutes and pour all the green vegetables and stir and mix for 2 minutes. Then pour all the pieces of marinated cat fish in the pan and stir so that all the spices mixed with fish. Don't stir more than three times or else, fish may break. After five minutes pour water so that all the vegetables and fish are covered with water and cover it. When it will start boiling cook for another ten minutes. Sprinkle the chopped coriander leaves and let it be there until the dish is served.

Then serve it in a bowl with rice.
This soup is good for health and has medicinal value.
